7 Brown Clinical Psychology Residents Earn DPHB Research Grants

Seven residents in the Brown Clinical Psychology Internship Training Program were awarded seed funding for research grants during their internship year. Read more about the recipients and their projects: 

Erick Fedorenko: "Sleep Disruption, Neurocognitive Markers of Emotion Dysregulation, and Suicidal Ideation Among Veterans Recently Discharged from Inpatient Psychiatric Care" (mentor: John McGeary, Ph.D.)

Sara Nolin: "Resting State Brain Network Dynamics with Electroencephalography (EEG) in middle-aged individuals with family history of Alzheimer’s Disease" (mentor: Laura Korthauer, Ph.D.)

Lesley Norris: "Understanding the Decision to End Treatment" (mentor: Kirsten Benito, Ph.D.)

Roselyn Peters: "Qualitative Follow-up to the Development of the Sexual and Negative Dating Inventory (SANDI): A Feasibility Study" (mentor: Lindsay Orchowski, Ph.D.)

Kayla Sall: "How Exposure to ACEs relates to Behavioral Weight Loss in Sexual Minority Women: A Trauma-Informed Approach" (mentor: Emily Panza, Ph.D.)

Stefanie Sequeira: "Investigating Associations between Anxiety and Reward Learning in Adolescents: A Pilot Study" (mentor: Anastacia Kudinova, Ph.D.)

Gemma Wallace: "Dynamic Relations Between Affect and Suicidality in the High-Risk Period Following Psychiatric Inpatient Discharge" (mentors: Jessica Peters, Ph.D., and Leslie Brick, Ph.D.)
