Specialty Training After Residency
Each year, new psychiatrists come to Brown for advanced training in specialized fields. Our fellowship directors and faculty, many of whom are nationally recognized for their work, lead individualized programs across hospital sites in Rhode Island that serve diverse populations.
Our program equips fellows with the skills needed to diagnose and treat children and adolescents experiencing the spectrum of mental and developmental difficulties.
The Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship provides a robust educational experience across a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, with the goal of preparing our fellows to be leaders in the field.
Fellows become leaders in psychiatry and engage in public and private forensic psychiatry, forensically-informed clinical practice, research, education, and public policy.
An intensive clinical experience designed to train the future leaders in geriatric psychiatry.
Focused clinical training in women’s mental health with an emphasis on perinatal psychiatry.
