Clinical Psychology Internship Program Announces 2026-2027 Match Class

Twenty-four predoctoral psychology students from doctoral programs across the country will continue their scientific and clinical training as clinical psychology residents in the 2026-2027 Brown Clinical Psychology Internship class. The cohort, recruited from a competitive pool of 418 applicants, was announced following the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers match on February 20.

“Once again, we are delighted to welcome our next cohort of clinical psychology residents to Brown," said training director Lauren Weinstock, Ph.D., professor of psychiatry and human behavior. "Originating from graduate programs spanning 14 different states, from as far west as Southern California and as near as right here in New England, this group comes to Brown with a wealth of accomplishments in clinical service delivery and research. We are excited about the unique perspectives and expertise that they will each bring to the internship training program and importantly, to our healthcare community in Rhode Island. We look forward to working side-by-side with them – and witnessing all that they will achieve during this important capstone year of their doctoral training!”

The clinical psychology residents will conduct their year-long internship in one of four training tracks: Adult, Health Psychology/Behavioral Medicine, Child, and Neuropsychology.

Congratulations to the new internship class!
