The Brown Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior announced that 13 medical students from across the country will be joining its psychiatry residency programs in June. The students were matched on March 20 through the National Resident Matching Program, which is based on a mutual ranking system.

Ten of the newly matched trainees will enter Brown's General Psychiatry Residency.

We are delighted to match with this accomplished group of residents," said Adult General Psychiatry Training Directors Laura Whiteley, M.D. and Camila Cosmo M.D., Ph.D. "They will be joining us from Medical Schools in Pennsylvania, Nebraska, Maine, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Ohio. This group includes multiple members of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. We are so excited to welcome them in person this June!"

The other three matched trainees will join Brown's Triple Board Residency in Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
