During spring 2026, Audrey Gmerek was an UTRA awardee and an undergraduate research assistant with the BRIDGE program, where she primarily worked on the Rhode Island Student Mental Health Network under the guidance of Dr. Hannah Frank and Dr. Ruben Martinez. She is an undergraduate student of International and Public Affairs and Economics at Brown University, with a focus on education policy in rural communities. She is committed to increasing access to essential resources, particularly mental healthcare, by aligning public policy directly with lived experiences.
