Philip is the founding Director of Psychiatric Neuromodulation at VA Providence and is Lead for Mental Health Research at the VA RR&D Center for Neurorestoration and Neurotechnology. He also serves as associate editor for neuroimaging and stimulations for Frontiers in Psychiatry and is active in several national organizations, including the Society of Biological Psychiatry, the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology, and the Psychiatric Research Society, where he served as president from 2020 to 2021.
