Margaret Crane, Ph.D., a postdoctoral fellow with Brown's BRIDGE program, has been selected for a fellowship at the Implementation Research Institute (IRI) of Washington University in St. Louis. The two-year fellowship helps participants develop a research agenda and prepare a competitive grant proposal in implementation science.
“I’ve looked up to IRI fellows ever since I first heard of the program in 2018,” said Crane, who researches the dissemination of evidence-based practices for youth mental health. “I’m thrilled to be part of this inspiring group.”
As part of the IRI program, Crane will join a cohort of ten fellows who will convene at the Center for Mental Health Services Research at Washington University for a week of collaborative training each summer. The fellows will receive ongoing mentorship from leaders in implementation science throughout the year.
Crane is the latest of a number of researchers affiliated with the BRIDGE program, Brown’s implementation science core, who have participated in the IRI fellowship. Prior IRI fellows include Ruben Martinez, Ph.D. (2024), Hannah Frank, Ph.D. (2023), and Rani Elwy, Ph.D. (2012).
