Nadjasmine Rene
Biography
Nadjasmine Rene is a senior undergraduate at Brown University pursuing a B.A. in Public Health, with a Certificate in Intercultural Competence and a focus on Spanish. She is a recipient of the Fall 2026 Undergraduate Teaching and Research Award (UTRA) and is passionate about social determinants of health and their impact on health outcomes and mental health disparities. She is especially interested in how systems and access shape mental health outcomes, especially in vulnerable communities such as youth. As a UTRA student, she looks forward to learning more about implementation science in practice and applying her interests to help close mental health support gaps with the BRIDGE team on the Student Mental Health Network. During her free time, she enjoys painting, trying new foods, and spending time with friends and family.
