Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior

Dr. Sara Vargas serves as one of the QSMTP’s Training Faculty. She co-leads one of the program’s skills-building workshops.

Dr. Vargas is an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior in the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Vargas is also a Research Scientist at The Miriam Hospital’s Center for Behavioral and Preventive Medicine. Dr. Vargas serves as an investigator and qualitative/mixed methodologist on numerous research studies and programs funded by the National Institutes of Health and Department of Defense.
