The Anti-Racism Steering Committee's Faculty Promotion Policies Working Group has compiled a list of recommended DEI/AR activities that meet the new faculty training requirement, effective July 1, 2022. The activities will be updated regularly. The working group also encourages faculty to complete an optional, anonymous evaluation of each activity. Your input will help us cultivate enriching and relevant DEI/AR requirements over the years.
Upcoming LIVE Activities and Trainings That Meet the DPHB DEI/AR Education Requirement
These are upcoming DEI/AR activities/trainings, either held in-person or online, that will only be offered once and will be unavailable for on-demand completion. Once the event has occurred, the activities/trainings here will be listed in the “Expired” section, linked below, so that you can easily keep track of all eligible offerings.
Currently Available On-Demand Activities and Trainings That Meet the DPHB DEI/AR Education Requirement
These DEI/AR activities/trainings are “on-demand,” meaning that they can be completed at any time.
Expired Activities and Trainings That Met the DPHB DEI/AR Education Requirement
You may have completed a DEI/AR activity or training that meets the DPHB DEI/AR Education Requirement, but is no longer available because the event was held live or the listing is now inactive. If so, please consult our list of expired activities and trainings and, if you participated, please include records of them in your re-appointment materials.
Clinical Instructors
New Clinical Instructors seeking appointment are required to view Dr. Tracey Guthrie's talk, "Racism in Academic Psychiatry: Hiding Behind the Cloak of Benevolence." Please complete the form and submit the automated email with your responses to Holly Wilker with your appointment materials.
Share Your Feedback
Because DPHB wishes to encourage continued exploration in the area of DEI/AR, additional DEI/AR activities may be eligible to meet the (re)appointment requirement upon prior approval by the ARSC Faculty Promotion Policies Working Group. If you have completed, or are about to complete, an unlisted DEI/AR training activity that you would like to be considered as eligible, please complete this form. The working group will review all submissions on a monthly basis and communicate their decision via email.
