
Ana Rabasco, Ph.D.
Biography
Ana Rabasco, Ph.D. (The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, 7/10/23-7/1/25) graduated from Colby College in 2015 with a B.A. in psychology and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies and a minor in creative writing. She then worked as a research assistant at Butler Hospital before starting a clinical psychology Ph.D. program at Fordham University under the mentorship of Dr. Margaret Andover. Ana returned to Providence, RI to complete her clinical psychology pre-doctoral internship at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and stayed to complete her postdoctoral fellowship within the Research Fellowship Program on the Suicide Research T32 under the mentorship of Dr. Brandon Gaudiano. Ana’s research has focused on suicide prevention and intervention development for people at high-risk for suicide, such as those with serious mental illness. Upon completion of her fellowship, Ana will remain at Butler Hospital and Brown University as an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior (pending). Ana is deeply grateful for the support from her many mentors, who have all provided guidance and encouragement throughout her training. She is also appreciative of the interactions she has had with her clients and research participants. Finally, Ana would also like to thank her husband, family, and friends for their unwavering support.
