Christina Chen, M.D.
Biography
Christina Chen, M.D., is a first-generation college and medical school graduate. She graduated with honors from Williams College with a degree in Chemistry. She worked as a research project coordinator at the Wyss Institute at Harvard University for a year before starting medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. During residency, she participated in the Resident as Teacher Program and served as a Chief Resident in her final year of training. After graduation, she is excited to join the Institute of Living in Hartford, CT as a staff psychiatrist in the Young Adult Services Intensive Outpatient Program, and plans to remain involved in medical education. She would like to thank her fiancé, Tony, for his support during residency, as well as her family. She is grateful to her co-residents, attendings, hospital staff, and program directors for a wonderful four years in Providence.
