
Dominique Broadnax, Psy.D.
Biography
Dominique Broadnax, Psy.D. (Rhode Island Hospital, 9/1/24-8/31/25) graduated with a B.S. in social psychology from the University of California, San Diego in 2017. She earned her M.A. and Psy.D. in clinical psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and completed her APA-accredited clinical psychology pre-doctoral internship at Aspire Health Alliance and McLean Southeast Hospital in 2024. Subsequently, she completed her APA-accredited postdoctoral fellowship at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, specializing in DBT-PE treatment of adults with posttraumatic stress disorder at the Rhode Island Hospital Partial Hospitalization Program’s Trauma Track. During her postdoctoral fellowship, she conducted research exploring the impact of maladaptive personality characteristics on treatment outcomes for adults in an acute care setting. She was also involved in trainee advocacy and leadership, serving as the Clinical Psychology Program’s cohort representative during her training year. Additionally, she was involved in the mentorship of Brown University research assistants and undergraduate students in both the BIPOC RA Mentorship Program and the university’s general RA Mentorship Program. Following the completion of her fellowship, she will continue to provide evidence-based treatment to marginalized adults with trauma and comorbid psychological and substance use disorders at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center (MMHC). In this role she will also serve as a clinical supervisor to predoctoral interns in the Harvard Medical School/MMHC Clinical Psychology Internship Program. Dominique is grateful for the endless support and love from her mother, siblings, and friends during her education and training.
