Kit Quain, M.D., graduated from Northeastern University’s Honors Program with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Prior to entering medical school, they worked for two years as a clinical research coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Cancer Outcomes Research and Education Program on mixed- methods studies focused on the psychosocial experiences of oncology care. They attended medical school at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, and throughout medical school and residency they have worked with Dr. Nadia Dowshen at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia on qualitative research studies with transgender youth. After finishing residency, they will start child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Brown University. They would like to thank their wonderful partner, family, co-residents, and attendings for their support and helping them become the person they are today.
