
Linda E. Guzman, Ph.D.
Biography
Linda E. Guzman, Ph.D. (The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, 8/1/23–6/30/25) graduated summa cum laude with a psychology B.A. from UNC Greensboro. Following graduation, she worked on a PCORI funded grant at the Sheps Center at UNC Chapel Hill. She earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she developed expertise in integrated behavioral health. Her dissertation, focused on developing a clinical tool to enhance depression screening in Latinx adults, was honored with the National Latinx Psychological Association’s Dissertation Award. During her pre-doctoral clinical psychology internship at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Linda trained in implementation science under the joint mentorship of Drs. Hannah Frank and Rani Elwy. That same year, she was named SAMHSA Fellow of the Month for her work in integrated behavioral health and was elected to the national board of the Society for Implementation Research Collaboration. She remained at Brown for postdoctoral fellowship, focusing on community-engaged implementation science methods through the Brown Research on Implementation and Dissemination to Guide Evidence Use (BRIDGE) Program. During fellowship, Linda was recognized as one of six national recipients of the 2024 Postdoctoral Health Psychology Award for Clinical Excellence and was selected as a 2025 Fellow in the LEAD Institute. She will transition to an NHLBI T32 position in Child Health Equity at Rhode Island Hospital. Linda proudly shares her accomplishments with her partner, family, friends, and mentors who have supported her journey.
