Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior

Nicholas McCrory, M.D., is a North Carolina native. He attended Duke University for college and medical school and obtained a master’s degree from NC State University. He was thrilled to match into Psychiatry residency at Brown, but that meant leaving home to venture into the Northeast. Fortunately, he found another home here in the wonderful training program and the beautiful state of Rhode Island, where he is now joined by his wife, Julia, dog (Riley), and brand-new baby boy. After graduation, he will be working on the inpatient behavioral health unit at Rhode Island Hospital. He would like to extend his deepest thanks to the many mentors who have been a constant source of support and guidance over the years.
