She then completed her Ph.D. in the Health Psychology and Clinical Science program at the Graduate Center, City University of New York, under the mentorship of Dr. Tracey Revenson. Sugandha completed her clinical psychology pre-doctoral internship at Rush University. She is completing her postdoctoral research fellowship at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University within the Cardiovascular Behavioral Medicine T32 program. Her training, overseen by Dr. Bess Marcus, has focused on designing and implementing physical activity programs for underactive and underserved populations. She has also completed her clinical training by working at the Advanced Cardiac Clinic of the Rhode Island Hospital (supervisor: Dr. Amanda Phillips), and as a Clinical Interventionist on two studies examining physical activity interventions (supervisors: Drs. Ana Abrantes and Lisa Uebelacker). In the fall, she will be starting a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Clinical Psychology with Health Emphasis Ph.D. program at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Yeshiva University. Sugandha is wholeheartedly thankful for her mentors, collaborators, peers, friends and family (with a special shout out to her eternal sunshine, Prasanth Louis).
