Sydney Kriegsman, M.D.
Biography
Sydney Kriegsman, M.D., is from New York City. She received her BA in Molecular Biology from Hamilton College in 2015. After college, she spent two years at Weill Cornell - NY Presbyterian researching delirium in the pediatric ICU. During this time, she confirmed that her love for research had grown into a love for medicine, so she studied for the MCAT exam and applied to medical school. During this time, she also assisted a retired philosopher write a book about consciousness, tutored for the MCAT exam, and walked dogs. Upon completing medical school at Boston University School of Medicine, she continued onto her training as a psychiatry resident at Brown. Upon completing her residency, she will be joining a group psychiatric practice in Rhode Island. She would like to thank all of the nurses, hospital staff, mentors, teachers, and colleagues she has been fortunate to work with along this journey. Lastly, she would like to thank her husband, Dave for his unwavering support; her son, Bryce, for making any hard day better; her friends; and her family.
