Zoya Younis, M.D., M.P.H., is from Long Island, New York. She received her BS in Biology from Macaulay Honors College. Zoya then completed her MPH with a focus in epidemiology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, where she also matriculated for medical school. Zoya was grateful to shift gears from academics in New York City to residency in Providence during which time she enjoyed exploring New England. After residency, Zoya will be completing her fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at Brown. She would like to thank her attendings for their excellent teaching and her family for support during residency. She would also like to thank the training directors and her coresidents.
